Use of the Service
Expense Tracker is provided for personal expense management and related productivity uses. You agree to use the service lawfully, protect your devices and credentials, and avoid interfering with the app, infrastructure, or other users.
Your Content
You retain ownership of the expense information, receipt images, notes, and other content you submit. You grant a limited permission for that content to be processed as needed to operate app features such as scanning, analytics for service quality, exports, and support.
Availability and Changes
Features may evolve over time to improve the product, comply with legal requirements, or maintain security. We may update, suspend, or discontinue portions of the app, though we aim to provide reasonable notice when changes materially affect users.
Voluntary Contributions, Donations & Payment Acceptance
Expense Tracker is provided as free software without mandatory paywalls or subscriptions. Any payments, contributions, tips, or donations made to the developer, Najeeb Puthiyapattillath, whether initiated via UPI (Unified Payments Interface), Buy Me a Coffee, banking channels, scannable QR code, or any other method, are strictly and purely voluntary gifts. (1) Strictly Non-Refundable: All monetary contributions and donations are final, absolute, and non-refundable. Under no circumstances will refunds, chargebacks, reversals, or disputes be granted, accepted, or entertained, including in cases of accidental transfer, dissatisfaction, or service modification. (2) No Reciprocal Obligation: Contributions do not constitute a commercial purchase of goods, software licenses, equity, or services. Najeeb Puthiyapattillath is under no legal, financial, or contractual obligation to provide anything in return, including but not limited to financial compensation, premium features, custom updates, bug fixes, software support, or warranties. (3) No Service Guarantee: Donating does not guarantee uninterrupted uptime or future operation of the app or website. (4) Third-Party Processors: Transactions are processed independently via external payment rails (such as UPI apps, banks, and Buy Me a Coffee). Najeeb Puthiyapattillath is not responsible or liable for any bank fees, transaction failures, processing delays, or third-party payment gateway issues.
Disclaimers
The app is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the extent permitted by law. Expense Tracker helps organize expense information, but it does not provide legal, tax, investment, financial, or accounting advice.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Najeeb Puthiyapattillath and associated service providers are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from use of the app, data inaccuracies, service interruptions, or voluntary financial contributions.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms, your access to and use of Expense Tracker, and any voluntary financial contributions or donations shall be governed by, interpreted, and construed exclusively in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal suit, claim, action, dispute, or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms, the application, or any contributions shall be instituted exclusively in the competent courts and judiciary of Kerala, India (Indian Judiciary). You irrevocably and unconditionally consent and submit to the exclusive personal jurisdiction and venue of the Indian Judiciary and waive any objection as to inconvenient forum.
